Terms of engagement.

These terms govern use of this website and any consultation, advisory or educational service provided by EGP Consultancies, a sole establishment licensed in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (Economic Licence No. CN-6711095).

Services are independent preliminary gemological consultation, professional observation, document review and consumer advisory. They are not an accredited laboratory report, certificate of authenticity, valuation, or guarantee of origin, treatment or identity.

Any opinion rests on the material supplied by the client. Where images, measurements, documents or descriptions are incomplete or inaccurate, the opinion is limited accordingly. Clients confirm they are entitled to share the material they submit.

Remote assessment from photographs, video and documents has inherent limitations and does not replace physical examination or advanced laboratory testing. Where testing is required, the client will be advised to approach an independent qualified gemological laboratory.

EGP Consultancies is not affiliated with, and does not represent, any gemological laboratory, seller, auction house or trade body. Consultation fees are never contingent on a particular finding, sale or valuation outcome.

All text, research, photomicrography and reference material on this website are the original work of the founder and EGP unless otherwise attributed. They may not be reproduced commercially without written permission.

Online payment is not currently active on this website. Fees, if any, are agreed in writing before work begins and are settled through the channel stated at that time.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable regulations of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
